“Hudson EMS, Fire and Police responded to an explosion at a gas well tank battery at 669 Barlow Road. One man died at the scene, and another was transported with serious injuries and burns to an area hospital.”

Munroe Falls opposes natural gas drilling site

Munroe Falls -- David Beck, president of Beck Energy in Ravenna, said he has everyone necessary on board to drill a natural gas well in Munroe Falls -- except for city officials.

Mayor Frank Larson said at the meeting that he is opposed to the location of the well because it is near the river.
